Officers secure 20 illegal climbers of Mount Merapi
Jakarta – Officers of the Mount Merapi National Park (TNGM) secure 20 illegal climbers. It is known that the illegal climbers rise through the climo door of Selo in Boyolali. “Our officers who served on the Boyolali regional management department assisted by the new police, secured about 20 illegal climbers,” TNGM Balai M Wahyudi chief of Detikjogja, was quoted on Sunday (4/13/2025). The illegal climbers were secured as they walked down the mountain. Officers also secured illegal climbing vehicles.
