Rajasthan: Silver worth Rs 6.4 crore has recovered, 3 arrested
Jaipur, October 10 (IANS). Police in Jhunjhunu with anti-course Task Force (Eighth) and Pilani police have taken a major steps. In this action, 365.7 kg of stolen silver, worth about 6.4 crore, was recovered. Police have arrested three accused in this case. It is believed that this silver was stolen from Chennai, which was recovered from a home in Pilani in the Jhunjhunu district Rajasthan. Based on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay and under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Police Devendra Singh Rajawat and Circle Officer Vikas Dhindwal, the operation was performed by Eight in-Charge Sho Ranjit Singh Sevda. Police in Solan have arrested three people in a sexual harassment case. The accused was identified as Vikas Jangid, 33, Nikhil Jangid, 24, both residents of Karpura Khurd in Jhunjhunu, and Rajbir Jangid, 31, resident of Badi Thirpali, Churu. On the instructions of SP Upadhyay, anti-course Task Force (Eighth) and Pilani Police performed this action in a very confidential way. After the Chennai police received information, the EightF team began pursuing the suspects and scanned several CCTV cameras from Jaipur to Pilani and used technical intelligence to locate the location of the criminals. After relentless efforts, the Eighth team spotted the House of Dharampal Jangid in a colony on Rajgarh road. When the team attacked the house, a large cupboard of silver hidden inside was recovered. The restored silver included tools, bricks and decorative items. Officials said that Chennai police gave intelligence about the suspects of the suspects, after which the eightf and Pilani police acted immediately. Investigators have investigated dozens of circuit television cameras installed along the route of Jaipur to Pilani and used technical supervision to locate the suspects. Police acted on the spot and attacked the house on Rajgarh Road in Pilani, where the stolen silver was hidden. At present, all three suspects have been arrested under preventative charges related to the disturbing public peace.
