Rajasthan: 'Women's Day' Festival in Baps Temple, great honor of women's power

Jodhpur, September 27 (IANS). The ‘Women’s Day’ was held with reverence, dedication and joy under the great statue Pratistha Mahotsav who runs at Baps Shri Swaminarayan Temple, Kaliberi. On the pleasant occasion of Navratri, this day is dedicated to the honor of parent force and her contribution. Temple Construction and Prestive Festival showed the loyalty, dedication and service spirit displayed by women. The opportunity not only became part of the spiritual festival, but also emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment and rituals in society. The festival was launched by the Young Men Mandal with favorable tunes and prayers. After this, the Grand Palanquin -Entrance and Lamp Lighting ceremony placed the entire campus with a sacred environment. Cultural presentations, inspirational discourses, video performances and Uddhans of leading guests brought the invaluable contribution of women’s power to the day -long program. Kirtan worship, folk music and dance performances made the atmosphere memorable. Durgaben as much of Baps Jodhpur Mahila Mandal gave a small conversation on the topic of ‘Glory of the Temple’. He said that the role of women in the sect is very important. Temple plays a central role in child education, family unit and the upliftment of society. Askani called on women to take inspiration for religion, service and valuable life. In the discourse, he said that during the construction of the temple, women not only provided financial support, but also showed emotionally and physically complete commitment. The event is part of the global tradition of Baps, where women empowerment is associated with spiritual terms. This new Akshardham Temple in Jodhpur, which was distinguished by Mahant Swami Maharaj on September 25, revives the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The entire structure is made of Jodhpuri sandstone, which has excellent nagar style carving.
