Rajnath Singh reached Morocco, first visit to any Minister of Indian Defense

New -Delhi, September 21 (IANS). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Kaslanca in Morocco on Sunday during an official visit of two days. This is the first historical visit of any Minister of Indian Defense who visited Morocco. The visit is considered an important step towards the strengthening of the defense collaboration between India and Morocco. The Minister of Defense will hold bilateral discussions during his stay and discuss several issues related to defense and strategic cooperation. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Minister of Defense in Moroccan, Abdelifif, went there at an invitation. His visit will officially begin on September 22. This will be the first visit to the Indian defense to the North African country, which sets out the growing strategic cooperation between India and Morocco. In the presence of Rajnath Singh, the new manufacturing plant of the Vehaldward Armard platform (WHAP) 8 will be inaugurated here at 8 in the Berchid of Tata Advanced Systems Morocco. The plant is the first Indian defensive plant in Africa. According to the Ministry of Defense, there is an important achievement and a self -sufficient Indian initiative is also a sign of India’s increasing global presence. After reaching Mohammad v International Airport in Casablanca on Sunday, Rajnath Singh was welcomed by Sanjay Rana, a head of military order of Casablanca and the Ambassador of India in Morocco. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is holding a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Defense of Morocco to strengthen strategic and industrial cooperation here. He will also meet Riyadh Mezoor, Minister of Industry and Morocco Trade for Industrial Cooperation events. Rajnath Singh will also meet people from the Indian community during his visit. During this visit by Rajnath Singh, an agreement must be signed by both sides for collaboration in the defense sector.
