The Brazilian Minister of Defense, José Museo Monteiro Filho, was also at this meeting. The leaders reviewed the progress of ongoing defense-related activities and identified priority areas for joint work, including exploring opportunities for co-development and co-production of defense equipment. India and Brazil have a deep strategic partnership. The two leaders affirmed their shared intention to further promote defense cooperation by strengthening joint exercises, training visits and military exchanges.
