Rajnath Singh visits Morocco on September 21, a new chapter in Defense Partnership
New -Delhi, September 20 (IANS). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be an official visit to Morocco on September 21. The journey is considered a symbol of increasing strategic collaboration between India and Morocco. The Minister of Defense gave this information through his official ‘X’ post. Rajnath Singh gave information about the social media platform ‘X’, saying that during this visit he will hold a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Defense Affairs in Morocco. In this meeting, there is a possibility of intensive discussion between the two countries on defense and security-related topics. The greatest achievement of this trip is the inauguration of the new manufacturing unit of Tata Advanced Systems Moroko in Beilshid, Moroco. This unit will manufacture modern military vehicles such as the wheel armored platform. This plant is also special because it is the first opening plant for Indian defense on the African continent. It is considered an important sign of the global scope of India’s defense sector. This step will also give a new pace to India’s ‘Make in India, Make for World’ policy. Rajnath Singh said: “This factory reflects the increasing international impact of India’s defense manufacturing capabilities. It will be a milestone in defending Indo-Morocco defense.” During his visit, the Minister of Defense will also meet people from the Indian community living in Morocco’s capital. They will also appreciate the contribution of Indian migrants there and share things related to the foreign policy and defense diplomacy of the government of India. Defense, trade, technical cooperation and cultural relations have gained momentum between India and Morocco over the past few years.
