Rakesh Bamzai praised Prime Minister Modi's vision of independent India
New Delhi, October 18 (IANS). Intas Pharmaceuticals CEO Rakesh Bamzai lauded the NDTV World Summit, calling it an important platform for dialogue on global issues and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Speaking to IANS on the sidelines of the summit on October 18, Bamzai said the event brought thinkers together at a time when the world is grappling with ongoing uncertainty and changing economic realities. He said today’s global environment has been described as a ‘new normal’, where ambiguity, complexity and volatility dominate decision-making across sectors. Despite this environment of uncertainty, Bamzai expressed confidence in India’s preparedness and resilience. He said, “India is fully prepared to handle this situation. I am excited about the future.” He emphasized that Indian industries are evolving rapidly to adapt to global challenges. Reflecting on the Prime Minister’s efforts at self-reliance, Bamzai said that ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is not just a slogan but a transformational vision backed by decisive leadership. “It’s a great vision. He’s a leader who leads from the ground up, a leader full of conviction, a leader full of clarity,” he said. Bamzai further emphasized that the coming decade will be defined by the rise of India on the global economic and geopolitical stage. “We are led by a dynamic, strong and articulate leader who really wants to take the country to the next level.
