Ranbir Kapoor: Star who won the hearts of the audience in simplicity and deep
Mumbai, September 27 (IANS). When it comes to the new Bollywood stars who win the hearts of the audience with their simplicity and deep, Ranbir Kapoor’s name comes to the top. Ranbir, who was born in the famous Kapoor family in Mumbai on September 28, 1982, is not only an actor, but is a face that brought the Indian theater to new heights. His father Rishi Kapoor and Mother Neetu Kapoor left their mark on the silver cloth, while Dada Raj Kapoor acknowledged the Indian theater on the world scene. But Ranbir made his own way, a path that was relieved with his talent and passion. In 2007, Ranbir began his career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Sanwaria’. Although the film does not rest at the box office, Ranbir’s innocence and his presence on the screen caught everyone’s attention. From there, the journey started with films like ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’. His obsessive character in ‘Rockstar’ ‘Jordan’ shook the audience, and then through a stupid ground character in ‘Barfi’, he proved that true acting is beyond words. In ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani’, Ranbir brought the complicated life of Sanjay Dutt alive in his character’s unconscious independence and ‘Sanju’. In Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s ‘Animal’, he played the role of a boy aimed at killing the enemies without thinking for his family and father. Ranbir sets a new criterion every time. Ranbir Kapoor’s movie ‘Rockstar’ was revealed as the biggest turning point of his career. But very few people know how much emotional price they had to pay to put the pain of the movie ‘Janarda/Jordan’ on screen. He cut himself out of the world for his character in the film. He shared an anecdote associated with this in one of his interviews. In fact, Ranbir’s character in ‘Rockstar’ goes through the travel of Rockstar ‘Jordan’, a rebel of a straight boy ‘Janardan’. Director Imtiaz Ali wanted Ranbir not to show the emotional emptiness of his character, but felt. Imtiaz Ali believed that the great art only arises through true pain. For this, Imtiaz Ali made a unique and difficult question from Ranbir Kapoor. Imtiaz Ali asked Ranbir to completely separate himself from each other during the shooting. Ranbir obeyed his director. He deliberately began to keep himself away from the rest on the set and outside the set. Ranbir raised the conversation with his friends and even the people on the set. Most of the time he remained calm and tried to feel the pain of his character. This separation was spiritually difficult for Ranbir, but it helped him understand the pain and loneliness that his character ‘Jordan’ was the identity. Not only was it acted, but was a spiritual preparation where the actor sank in the feelings of the character to bypass his personal life. The result of this outdated acting was that Ranbir Kapoor delivered the best performance of his career. It shows that Ranbir Kapoor’s success is not only because of his good appearance or charm, but because of the deep passion and sacrifice he does for each character. -Ians JP/DSC
