Rao vs Rao controversy reinforced with Rebel MCG councilors returning to BJP

The prolonged Rao vs Rao -dispute in Gurugram was once again heated as seven rebels and the independent people returned to BJP. Of these, at least five councilors belong to the camp of the local MP and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, who gave him an edge in the upcoming senior deputy mayor and deputy election in Mayhapore. The move made rival Rao Narbir Faction Restless, who recently won both positions in the Manesar Nigam. Councilors returned, five of whom were suspended by the party six years ago, were welcomed in the presence of the chief minister and the BJP president. Although Rao is allegedly behind this ‘homecoming’, he stopped by refusing to comment. One of his close assistants said: “The BJP recalled his trusted workers. There was a mistake in the ticket award, but it couldn’t be allowed to influence the party. So they were called back.” Councilors who returned to the party are Parminder Qataria, Pradeep Param, Mahavir Yadav, Dinesh Dahiya, Avnish Raghav, Prashant Bhardwaj and Gagandeep Kirrod. All of them searched tickets at BJP, but disputed independents because they did not get tickets. Many of his initial posters also had a photo of Rao Indrajit, which was later removed.
