Karawang – The police are moving to investigate the rape case of a junior high school student in Karawang, West Java (Jabar) committed by six people who also had the status of junior high school students. The police arrested four perpetrators. “4 have been secured, 2 are still being investigated,” said Karawang police chief, AKBP Fiki N Ardiansyah, when asked on Saturday (18/10/2025). Separately, Karawang Police’s PPA Unit Chief, Ipda Rita Zahara, explained that the incident took place on Saturday (11/10). While on their way, they met two offenders on a motorcycle. “Then one of the child offenders was invited to ride the motorcycle. The four of them drove together to the ICP (crime scene) to the house of one of the offenders,” he said. After they arrived, one of the offenders grabbed the victim’s hand and forced him into the room. At that location, the perpetrators had sex with the victim. The depraved act was recorded by the victim’s colleague with the initials E. The recording then reached the victim’s parents and they eventually made a police report. “With the child witness with the initials E, he was captured on video while the victim was abused by several child offenders. Until his parents found out because they saw the video of this child witness. This child witness informed the reporter by showing the witness’s video recording,” he said. Alcohol party offenders Reported by detikJabar, the incident happened last Saturday (11/10/2025) in Jayakerta District, Karawang Regency. The six perpetrators were suspected of drinking alcohol. The perpetrators were under the influence of alcohol, which made their behavior unnatural. “These six perpetrators are suspected to have been influenced by alcohol, which made their behavior inhumane, and a heartbreaking incident (rape) took place. We are very concerned as these children are of junior high school age,” said Wiwiek Krisnawati, head of the Karawang Regency Women and Child Protection Service (DP3A), on Thursday (16/10). Wiwiek said the rape case involved a 14-year-old junior high school student and six 14-year-old junior high school students. “Yes, the rape incident involved a 14-year-old junior high school student, which was carried out by 6 junior high school students of the same age. This case took place in Jayakerta district,” he continued. Currently, Wiwiek said, his party is treating the victims, both physically and psychologically. “If this case is processed by the police, we will only deal with the issue of physical, post-mortem and psychological treatment to assist (the victim),” he said.
