GST worth Rs 12 crore was stolen without a firm. The purchase and sale were continued on paper itself. A complaint was given against the person concerned at the Bannadevi police station. Akhilesh Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Gst Sib, said that Abhishek Kumar, a resident of Bhagalpur, prepared a false firm in the name of AK enterprises in Motibihar in Bannadevi. This showed the sale of FMCG products. Bills are executed every day. The firm also benefited from ITC. When the firm was investigated, a very shocking situation came to light. It appeared that no firm was operated on the spot. The department’s investigation revealed that the firm also paid false accounts of businesses from Khair, Gangiri, Chhara and Atrauli. Purchase was also made from these places.
