Jakarta – National Police held a joint learning forum (FBB) with the theme ‘Moral Recovery, Spirit and Professional Polri to Collective Violence and Riot at the end of August’. In his presentation, Mahfud highlighted the moral challenges of members of the National Police to perform their duties. He said members of the National Police must hold on to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution that remain trusted by the people. “The fundamental solution to the national police is to return to its identity. Tri Brata and Catur Prasetya must be lived by holding quickly to Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945, so that the National Police trust by people as guards of law and the Republic of Indonesia,” he said. Meanwhile, Chryshnanda has discussed the transformation of Polri education on the basis of morality, literacy and dialogue of civilization. He said it was meant to form the police far from corruption and arrogance. “National Police must be able to form a professional, integrity and adaptable police in the digital era and post-truth. Smart policing and media policing are the most important, but most importantly, to maintain public confidence by avoiding corruption, arrogance and partiality in crime,” he said.
