Jakarta – Jember Regent Gus Fawait presented bonuses to Jember athletes who excelled at the 2025 East Java Province IX Sports Week (Porprov). Silver IDR 20 million, and bronze IDR 10 million,” Gus Fawait emphasized. “We want to ensure that appreciation for the struggle of Jember athletes is no less great than other regions,” he continued. Not only monetary bonuses, undergraduate scholarships at various campuses in Indonesia are also provided for outstanding athletes. According to Gus Fawait, this step is a form of government support for the future of Jember’s young generation – not only as athletes, but also as educated people who are ready to compete in the future.
