Bhagalpur, September 27 (IANS). An important review meeting was held on Saturday chaired by the Deputy Development Commissioner of Bhagalpur, Kumar Singh. This meeting was called to discuss the preparations for the general election of the meeting 2025. In this, the nodal officials presented their progress report. For this, 6 schools from Bhagalpur and 3 schools in Kahalgaon were selected. In the first phase, 20,000 staff members were trained. The Deputy Development Commissioner ordered that a complete list of training programs be prepared and that they would visit the training centers themselves. The District Informatics Officer of Computerization and Website Coshang said that the training of webcasting will take place after the appointment of staff. Director Nep, Nodal Officer of Sweep Koshang, provided information on the district plane plan. Pradeep Kumar instructed every day to organize a voter awareness program. He asked for an awareness campaign through education, ICDs, livelihoods, welfare, agriculture, rural development, health departments as well as scouts, NCC and NSC. It was told during the meeting that the voter rise of the Bhagalpur urban area in the last Lok Sabha election was very low. Deputy Election Officer, Mrs. Shweta Kumari, said that 2 to 10 campus ambassadors will be appointed in each college, for which the principals received responsibility. The Deputy Development Commissioner ordered the director NEP to organize video conferencing with the principals. It was decided to run a special campaign for voter awareness in urban areas. Joint Director Public Relations Nagendra Kumar Gupta, Nodal Officer of MCMC and Media Koshang, said MCMC was keeping an eye on print, electronic and social media during the election.
