Kim Zolciak hasn’t been on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a main Housewife since season 5, but she hasn’t stopped being in the headlines. Unfortunately for Zolciak, not every headline has been a positive one since her pending divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann. In October 2025, Zolciak was subpoenaed in a separate divorce filing by her alleged boyfriend’s soon-to-be ex-wife.
The former Housewife hasn’t had too much good press as of late because of the unravelings of her divorce, and now a subpoena only adds fuel to the fire for the bad things against Kim.
Kim Zolciak Is Being Subpoenaed In Her Alleged New Relationship’s Divorce
In October, US Weekly reported that Kim Zolciak was subpoenaed in the divorce between Kyle Mowitz and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jillian Green. It’s shared that Zolciak is currently dating Mowitz in her first relationship since her pending divorce from Kroy Biermann.
The court documents question the alleged lavish gifts that Mowitz bought for Zolciak.
Zolciak was served papers in March 2025 to appear in court as part of the deposition of Mowitz and Green’s divorce, where she was instructed to bring certain communications and proof of gifts from Mowitz.
“Any and all documents regarding or pertaining to your financial relationship with Kyle Mowitz, including but not limited to gifts given or received from Kyle, expenses paid on your behalf by Mr. Mowitz or any business in which he is connected, monies loaned to you and monies paid to you by mr. Mowitz or any businesses with which he is connected.”
According to Zolciak’s lawyers, she requested to oppose the deposition as it is seen “…unreasonable, oppressive and intended to annoy and embarrass her.”
Green’s legal demands didn’t stop there. Green also wants proof of receipts or communication that involves travel expenses or itineraries, and general messages between her and Mowitz.
Along with Zolciak’s lawyers, Mowitz’s lawyer is also against her being subpoenaed over their new relationship, considering it didn’t start until after their separation.
“As for Ms. Kim Zolciak, Ms. Mowitz’s decision to involve her in the divorce case is highly unnecessary as any relationship our client may have with her only began after the parties’ separation.”
As of this article’s publication, the judge has not made a decision.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta know this isn’t the first time Zolciak was involved in a relationship where her partner bought her lavish things.
As a member of one of the best reality TV shows on Bravo, Zolciak was involved with a man she called Big Papa on RHO. She never disclosed his identity on the series because he was a wealthy married man who didn’t want the show’s attention. The two had an arrangement where she was gifted lavish things for spending time with him.
At the time of the series, the wealthy businessman was not divorced from his wife. Zolciak enjoyed a “sugar daddy” relationship before the term went mainstream in today’s culture.
The two broke up in 2009, and she met Biermann a year later. Zolciak and Biermann were married for 12 years and had six children together (two were from Zolciak’s previous relationships) before they filed for divorce.
Kim Zolciak’s Soon-To-Be Ex-Husband Is Involved Too
As if the subpoena wasn’t dramatic enough for Kim Zolciak, TMZ shared that Kroy Biermann allegedly reached out to Jillian Green, Zolciak’s new boyfriend’s soon-to-be ex-wife.
In court filings from June 2025, Green explained that Biermann called her to share his fears about Zolciak’s relationship with Kyle Mowitz. According to Green, Biermann claimed that Zolciak would “drain money from Kyle.”
Green verified Biermann’s fears by stating that Mowitz’s credit card is on file for Zolciak’s food delivery service, Instacart.
Biermann allegedly continued that he feared for Zlociak’s mental state as she was not a present mother to their children. She’s a “narcissist” with a “problem gambling,” things that were also mentioned in the court documents against Zolciak.
As of this article’s publication, after a brief reconciliation, Zolciak and Biermann’s divorce is still pending, and both have filed for sole physical custody of their minor children.
