The Monitoring Bureau filed cases against 34 corrupt civil servants in 150 days this year, in which 27 were caught with a red hands bribes. A bribe of Rs 12 Lakh 46 thousand has been restored. Action was done by submitting a case against 34 corrupt civil servants in about 150 days since January this year, from the level of the Monitoring Bureau, caught by some officer or worker who abuses a red hand or taking bribes every 4 to 5 days. In this, 27 civil servants were caught with a red hand taking bribes, in which a total amount of bribes of Rs 12 Lakh 46 thousand were restored. The civil servants trapped in the trap sent a bribe with a red -handed bribe after being offered before the Monitoring Court. The average action against corrupt civil servants from the level of the bureau level is much higher than the past year. It was taken in 2024 at 15 in 2024, 36 in 2023, 72 in 2022, 58 in 2021 and 37 corrupt civil servants in 2020. In 2022, 72 civil servants acted who treaded, abused DA and Post throughout the year. 2022 On average, some corrupt civil servants dropped within 5 to 6 days. If the velocity of the action of the trap is faster, as we look at the action of the trap, the average has increased faster than the last five years. There were only 22 cases of trap throughout the year in 2020. While there were 27 traps from January to May this year. At the end of the current year, the cases of trap may be more than that. In the action of the trap, the maximum number of police with a red hands is caught taking bribery, except other rank officials, including other rank officials. In addition, some other officials, including the executive engineer, were also arrested. As a result, arrangements were made to complain directly in the Bureau of Monitoring Bureau. Apart from a helpline number, a complaint box was also placed at the main gate of the Bureau office, in which a person can complain against an officer. After checking it, action is done after the complainant in question has called and after the investigation of the whole case. The actions on the complaints received are also done quickly. In light of this, the rate of action against corrupt civil servants has accelerated. The process of action against corrupt civil servants continues under the government’s zero tolerance policy. Upon receiving a complaint related to the question of bribes over any level officer or staff from somewhere, action is taken immediately by verifying it. Folk officials who have deposited tremendous property as a result of corruption are also monitored.
