Riau Regional Police Bidhumas staff improve communication quality through SiPenmas
Jakarta – Riau Regional Police Bidhumas personnel participated in Public Information System (SiPenmas) training organized by the National Police Public Relations Department. This activity was held as an effort to improve communication skills and information services to the public. This SiPenmas training will take place from today, Friday (17/10) to Sunday (19/10) in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta. The Bidhumas Polda Riau sent two staff members, namely Ipda Vicki Rizky and Brigadier Jumaidi Rahman. This official SiPenmas training was opened by the Head of the National Police Public Relations Department, represented by the Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Department, Brigadier General Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko and accompanied by the Chief Police Liaison Officer Level II of the National Police Public Relations Department, Brigadier General Pol H. suppliers of Verita Informatics. The SiPenmas training was attended by operators from the Penmas subdivision Bidhumas Polda throughout Indonesia as well as the PPID Satker from the National Police Headquarters. Through this application, the National Police is committed to providing a public information system that is fast, transparent and accountable. SiPenmas is officially managed by the National Police Public Relations Department as a platform for the media and public to access reliable news and information related to police activities and policies. Special. “The SiPenmas application is designed to make it easier to provide National Police Public Relations services and communication with media friends, as well as with the Regional Police,” said Brigadier General Trunoyudo. Friday (17/10/2025). One of SiPenmas’ advantages is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the compilation of news stories, so that the process of creating releases is faster, more accurate and appropriate to the context in the field. This system also facilitates journalists and mainstream media to obtain official news, provide clarification and discuss directly with the National Police’s public relations at central and regional levels. In this way, communication becomes more effective and prevents the spread of fake news. The benefits of SiPenmas are not only felt by the National Police, but also the mass media and the wider community. The National Police can speed up the dissemination of information and strengthen the image of a transparent and accountable institution. The media gets official and fast access, thus increasing the quality of journalism. Meanwhile, people can easily get valid information while increasing digital literacy and reducing the spread of disinformation.
