For this, the cashless treatment scheme 2025 was notified to the victims of the road accidents launched by the central government, including cashless treatment for seven days in the designated hospitals. There is work at the level of the transport department to implement this scheme in Bihar. The injured receive free treatment of up to Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand, under this scheme, the injured person will get in a road accident cashless treatment in any designated hospital for a maximum of seven days after the accident. For this, the government took the initiative to carry the cost of treatment to Rs 1.5 lakh (per person) to the victim. For this, many hospitals will be nominated, so that the injured person in the accident does not have to wander for treatment and their lives can be saved on time. Sandeep Kumar R. Pudalkatti, Secretary of Transport, said the government is committed to saving the lives of victims from the road accidents and providing better treatment on this scheme. With the implementation of this scheme, those injured in the road accident will get in time and proper treatment. Which hospitals will be included in this scheme? The person injured in a road accident will be treated in nominated hospitals. If the designated hospital does not have the necessary facilities for the treatment of the victim, such hospitals will be able to refer the injured to other hospitals immediately. For this, it is the duty of the hospital to provide ambulance facility to take the injured to other major hospitals. The state government will include all the hospitals that can provide trauma and polytroma for immediate treatment of victims of the road accidents. In hospitals where there is no proper facility for the treatment of the injured in the accident, the victim will only be treated for stabilization. How to pay for the treatment bills of hospitals will be made a nodal agency for the implementation of this scheme. In addition, a portal is preparing a portal to include the hospitals appointed under the National Health Authority Scheme and pay hospital bills. In which all the information related to the treatment of the injured and hospital bills will be available. After the injured person was discharged from the hospital, the designated hospital will pick up the cost of the treatment package on his behalf on the portal. The State Health Agency will then submit a claim for payment to all the documents.
