Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul trained in the BCCI Center of Excellence

Bengaluru, September 21 (IANS). The Indian ODI team’s captain Rohit Sharma and veteran batsman Kl Rahul started working on their fitness and sports before the coming season. Recently, both legendary cricketers took special training in the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore. The BCCI shared a video of Rohit and Rahul’s training. In the video, both senior batsmen are working hard to strengthen their preparations before the busy cricket season. The BCCI posted the video on X on Sunday and wrote: “For preparing the upcoming tournaments, Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul trained in the BCCI Center of Excellence focusing on skills and strength training. Both players practiced different situations at the center of excellence.” Rahul will take on the second multi-day match of India A against Australia A in the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow from September 23. Both Rahul and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj were included with the team for this match. This is Rahul’s first professional cricket match after the English Test series. He was the third highest run Corer to score 532 runs in the English Test series on an average of 53 years on the tour, and Rahul scored two centuries and two fifties. Rahul can be seen as a opener in the two -test series against the West Indies. The first Test will be played in Ahmedabad from October 2 to 6 and the second Test will be played in New -Delhi from 0 to 14 October. Both matches are part of the current ICC World Test Championship cycle. Rohit Sharma will be seen in a blue jersey in the three ODI series against Australia. All three games of the series will be played in Perth on October 19, Adelaide on October 23 and Sydney on October 25.
