During this time, the chief minister provided detailed information on the successes of the Anti -Maoist campaigns in the state and the development works that take place in Bastar zone. Chhattisgarh Deputy Head Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Vijay Sharma, and general secretary of Chief Minister Subodh Singh were present at the event. The chief minister said that the Naxal Abolition campaign was taken to a decisive turn with the new strategy of the state government and the cooperation of the center. Positive results of intensive campaigns conducted over the past one and a half were achieved. 1,428 Maoists have surrendered, which is a significant increase compared to the last five years. Chief Minister Sai informed that 427 Maoists were killed in 205 encounters, including notorious Maoists such as the top leaders of the organization Baswa Raju and the central committee member Sudhakar. In addition, 64 new forward security camps were set up in the state, strengthening the security network. He informed that basic facilities such as electricity, drinking water, health services and schools are now being provided to the towns near these security camps. In the 146 towns identified under the ‘Nayad Nellanar Yojana’, 18 types of community services and 25 types of government schemes are implemented in an integrated form, which increased the trust of the locals in the system. Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah appreciated the progress report hosted by Chief Minister Sai and said that the efforts of the Chhattisgarh government would be able to make a decisive control of Maoist activities and that the central government would be supported by all possible support.
