Two Royal Navy Helicopters have Visited Jersey, Guernsey and Sark for an Emergency Planning Exercise.
One of the Mk4 Helicopters – From 846 Naval Air Squadron – Landed at Grainville School Earlier, with the Jersey Field Squadron Given an Opportunity for Troop Training, Officials Said.
The Other Aircraft Landed at Port soif Sports Field in Guernsey, The States of Guernsey Said.
The Helicopter THEN LEFT FOR SARK AND WILL RETURN TO GUERNSEY ON SATURDAY FOR FINAL EXERCISE Over the South-West of the Island UNIL 14:30 BST.
Kevin Murphy, Emergency Planning officer for the Channel Islands, Said: “This Visit to the Channel Islands is a great training opportunity for the Aircraft Crews.”
