'Roz Bolungi ....': Janhvi Kapoor responds after becoming imeme material 'for singing Bharat Mata Ki Jai during the JanMashtami event

The actress attended a Dahi Handi celebration in Ghatkopar on Saturday, where she broke the ‘Matki’ with a coconut and raised the song. Shortly thereafter, some users on social media mocked her and joked that she mixed Janmashtami with Independence Day. The video quickly became ‘meme material’, with many calling it a ‘goof-up’. The ‘Param Sundari’ actress responded to the trolling and took them to her Instagram to share the full video and make it clear that the viral cut was ‘edited’ and did not show the full context. She further explained that she just repeated the song after someone said in the crowd, ‘Bolo Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ and added that she would proudly say that the slogan is not only on Janmashtami, but ‘every day’.
