Ruckus on BBC documentary about Sidhu Mosewala, Father Balakaur Singh wrote a letter to police in Maharashtra
Chandigarh, June 8 (IANS). Controversion arose about the upcoming documentary of the BBC World Service based on life and murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Mouskala. Sidhu Mouswala’s father Balakaur Singh Sidhu wrote a letter to DGP Maharashtra and the Juhu police station in Mumbai expressing strong objections to this documentary. In a letter sent by Balakaur Singh, it is alleged that a documentary show program by the BBC in ‘Sohus House’ in Juhu, Mumbai, is organized on June 11 at 15:00, claiming to be the facts associated with Sidhu Mosewala’s life and his murder that was nowhere published. Balakaur Singh wrote in the letter that no permission was taken from this documentary, nor was he notified about it. He says that this documentary can not only harm the image of his son, but that it may also affect the lawsuit associated with the murder of Sidhu Mosewala. The most serious allegation was made that such people were questioned by the BBC, whose names were registered in the FIR associated with the murder of Sidhu Mosewala. This harmed the feelings of the family of the victim. Balakaur Singh made it clear that if this documentary is not stopped, he will also beat the door of the court. He demanded that the program be stopped immediately and that the necessary legal action should be taken. -Ians DSC/EKD shares this story -tags
