PM Modi turns 75: Top 10 landmark schemes that have formed its management - from Swachh Bharat to Jan Dhan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his birthday today, September 17. In celebration of his 75th birthday, the prime minister will launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and ‘8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns in Dharat at about 12 afternoon in Madhya Pradesh. He will also lay the foundation stone, start several other initiatives and address the event at the event. Narendra Modi served as Chief Minister of Gujarat for three consecutive terms (2001-14) and is now the prime minister for the third time since 2014. The past eleven years Premier Narendra Modi has led a series of national campaigns on health, sanitation, women’s welfare, housing and financial inclusion. Here is the list of ten key initiatives launched by the Union Government, led by Premier Narendra Modi, since 2014: 1- Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Swachh Bharat Mission, the flagship beauty drive, was launched on October 2, 2014 and was the first and most visible campaign of PM Modi in May 2014. Across India. More than 100 million household toilets were built, and more than 6 Lakh towns were declared as part of this campaign as open feces. 2- Ayushman Bharat Yojana The landmark health scheme, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, was launched on September 22, 2018, a year before the second term of the Premier Modi. Also known as PM-Jay, it has become the world’s largest government-funded health protection scheme, which offers coverage of up to £ 5 Lakh per family annually. The scheme facilitated more than 7 Crore-free hospital recordings, significantly reducing expenses from the bag and expanding access to critical operations and treatments. It is also said to have printed India in the direction of digital health reforms by the Ayushman Bhan Digital Mission, which created digital health IDs for millions of citizens. 3 – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana The ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ aimed at providing affordable homes to rural and urban poor under the government of the government. The housing scheme was launched in June 2015. The beneficiaries received subsidies for building and purchasing homes. The scheme focused on women and marginalized communities. 4-Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana The Jan Dhan Yojana is a financial inclusion program of the Government of India that is open to Indian citizens, aimed at expanding affordable access to financial services such as bank accounts, remnants, credit, insurance and pensions. The scheme, which was launched on August 28, 2014, has so far provided millions of unpopular Indians access to banking. This scheme eventually became the basis of the government’s Jam Trinity, Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile, which made direct transfer of subsidies and welfare payments without leaks. 5 -Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUy) is the flagship social welfare scheme of the Union government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched it on May 1, 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide clean cooking fuel (LPG – celebrated petroleum gas) to poor households, especially in rural areas, to reduce the health hazards caused by cooking, coal, cow or kerosine.
