Himachal Pradesh: A unique confluence of theater and art in the Kullu district, Himachal International Film and Art Festival will be organized

Kullu, June 10 (IANS). The beautiful district of Himachal Pradesh Kullu will again be a center of attraction for art and cinema lovers. Himachal International Film and Art Festival will be held in Manali from June 13 to 15. This three -day festival will be a unique confluence of theater, arts and culture, which will not only attract the audience, but also give young talents the chance to improve their art. More than 50 selected films from India and around the world are displayed at this festival. This includes many such films that are not shown in Cinema Hall and are not available on any OTT platform. Big films include Sonali Bose’s ‘A Fly on the Wall’, Subhadra Mahavan’s ‘Second Chance’, Diwakar Das Roy’s ‘Delhi Roof’ and Mansi Maheshwari’s ‘Banni Hood’. In particular, ‘Banni Hood’ was recently released on the Cannes Film Festival, which received a lot of praise internationally. In addition, there is also a show of classic films such as ‘Mirch Masala’ and ‘Guide’ to enjoy the family in the evening. This festival is not just limited to film performance. It will also be an important platform for young talents. The organizers said that more than 600 children from schools in the Kullu region would be trained in acting, dancing, body movement, fashion and nuances of theater. In addition, children will also be provided basic information on film production through mobile and camera. To make this training program more effective, a special team from the National School of Drama will attend the festival.
