Safety forces great success in the Anti -Maoist campaign in Bijapur, 26 Naxalites arrested

Bijapur, September 11 (IANS). Security forces have had great success under the Anti -Maoist campaign in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A total of 26 active Maoists were arrested in the campaign lined up in various police stations in the Gangalur district, Bhairamgarh, Awapalli, Usur and Tarram. A large amount of explosive materials and materials associated with promoting the Maoist organization has been restored from their possession. According to police, 3 Maoists were caught in Gangalur, 3 in Bhairamgarh, 8 in Awapalli, 8 in Usur and 4 in Tarram. The arrested Maoists also contain some prize Naxalites, including Munna Potam (reward of Rs 8 Lakh), Arjun Atami, Payako Madvi, Krishna Podiyam, Rama Kaka and Mani Makam (Rs 1 Lakh prize for each). During the campaign, security forces, Fooker bomb, Tiffinbom, Carex wire, safety insurance, explosions, multimeter, electrical wires, batteries, soil digging and reproductive materials such as banners, posters and pamphlets. During interrogation, the accused acknowledged that they intended to install Heied’s to harm the police party. The Maoists arrested from Gangalur include Budharu Dodi, Sukhram Midium and Bhima Dodi of the Gangalur police station. The Maoists arrested from Bhairamgarh include Arjun Atami, Piko Madvi and Maniram Oyam. The Maoists arrested from Awapalli include Krishna Podiyam, Kaka Lachha, Munna Gatpalli, Linga Madvi, Punem Sona, Ramesh Dhurwa, Kaka Ganesh and Harish Podiam. Munna Potam, Rama Kaka, Narayan Paske, Aarti Punem, Vida Punem, Ramesh Kunjam, Ganpat Pelske and Konka Perscay were arrested from USur, while Money Makam, Motu Oyam, Sandeep Budse and Yoga Podiam were arrested. The presence of witnesses has been seized on the restored material. A case is registered against all the accused under the Indian Criminal Act and applicable sections of the Explosives Material Act. After the arrest, everyone was produced on judicial detention in the Honorable Court. -Ians pim/gkt
