Large schemes for Manipur and Assam will also lay the groundstone of projects worth more than Rs 7.300 crore in Manipur and set the schemes worth more than Rs 1.200 crore. This includes schemes such as National Highway, Urban Roads, IT hubs and women’s special markets. This will strengthen the socio-economic structure of the state and provide new jobs to the youth. In this, projects such as Guwahati Ring Road, Kuruva-Narngi Bridge on Brahmaputra River, Darang Medical College and Bio-Oathanal plant at Numaligarh refinery will strengthen connectivity and health structure. The new thinking for the northeast has long been isolated from the rest of the country because of the mountains, valleys and boundary geographical location. It is the central government’s effort to transform the region into a course of connectivity, energy and industrial investment. The railway line with a high bridge of Qutub Minar is the new lifeline of the Bairabi-Sirang railway line Mizoram. The project contains 48 tunnels, 55 large bridges and 87 small bridges. One of these bridges is 114 meters high, which is even higher than the Qutub Minar.
