The Samajwadi party (SP) demanded a high level and fair investigation into the recent Ruckus in the city. In this regard, a delegation led by district president Shivcharan Kashyap met Ajay Kumar Sahni and handed him a claim letter. The SP delegation in its letter of claim said that there are likely to take action against innocent people in the case of Ruckus, which is unfair and unacceptable. He called on the administration to conduct a fair investigation into the incident, so that the actual culprits could be brought under the legal lead and the reputation and safety of innocent civilians suffered no harm. District President Shivcharan Kashyap said: “We want the case to be investigated with full transparency. Only the truth comes out and action must be taken against the culprits. We must ensure that innocent people are not victims of any form of action.” The delegation also urged Sahni that the investigation should not have political pressure and other external intervention. He said that high -level investigation will not only ensure justice, but also strengthen the confidence in administration in the general public.
