Samrat Chaudhary mocks Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Jalebi politics’, BJP leaders target opposition

Patna, October 21 (IANS). As the election atmosphere heats up in Bihar, the rhetoric among the leaders is also increasing. On the occasion of Diwali, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary took a dig at Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi over his ‘making Jalebi and Laddu’ video. He said that he buys Jalebi during the Haryana elections. This time he inspects Jalebi. May God continue to inspect Jalebi like this. Bankipur Assembly BJP candidate and External Affairs Minister Nitin Nabin has reacted to the allegations leveled against BJP leaders by Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore. He said: “The candidates of the leaders who have already left the field will not last long in the election contest. How will a party whose leader cannot muster the courage to contest the elections empower its candidates?” He further said that if any party’s candidates leave the field, the first culprit is its leader himself. Reacting to the letter written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the countrymen on the occasion of Diwali, BJP state president Dilip Kumar Jaiswal said, ‘President Modi’s vision always remains focused on ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. On the occasion of Diwali, he spoke about learning lessons from the life of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. Even during his 14 years of exile, Lord Rama did not seek help from any king but set an example of social justice and cooperation. Along with the neglected sections of the society like Nishadraj, Vanar Sena, he protected religion and justice. PM Modi also carries forward the same spirit of social justice and equality. Taking a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance, Jaiswal said, ‘Now the name of the Grand Alliance should be changed to ‘Maha Lathbandhan’, the party that gives oil and swings sticks. The people of Bihar no longer want Jungle Raj-2. The public understood that when there is so much conflict in the distribution of seats, what will happen if the government is formed in the future. He said that this time the public will vote in favor of stability, development and good governance because Bihar does not want to go back to the era of anarchy and instability. –IANS ASH/DKP Share this story Tags
