Sanjay Upadhyay targeted the opposition, said- mandate is over, now the opposition is looking for issues in desperation

Mumbai, October 16 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sanjay Upadhyay expressed happiness over Ahmedabad’s name being proposed to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games. He said international sporting events should be welcomed in India as they reflect our growing global influence and preparedness. During a special conversation with IANS, he said that India is now fully capable of hosting world-level sporting events. Just as the Commonwealth Games were held successfully, we must now move forward to host the Olympic Games. He expressed confidence that the necessary infrastructure and sports talent are present in the country, and India will soon become the country to host the Olympics. Facing the opposition, he said that the mandate of the opposition has ended and now he is trying to spread frustration and confusion on different issues. Upadhyay said that those who earlier said to leave India are now talking about joining India but the public is not with them. Today, the country trusts the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stands with him at every level. Responding to the demand for electoral roll revision by opposition parties in Maharashtra, Upadhyay said the way the opposition is united and mourning before the local elections is an acceptance of their defeat. He said that the government is doing good work under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and public confidence in BJP remains strong. Regarding the Bihar Assembly elections, Upadhyay said that BJP will enter the field with full force under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, and the National Secretary General and the Bihar election, will all play an active role in this campaign.
