It was his foresight that took a tribe girl like me from the jungle to the world.” Sarita represented India at international level by winning gold in the Jakarta Asian Games. For this success, the government gave him an award of Rs 1 crore. Furthermore, with the support of Premier Modi, he was appointed in the Gujarat government. In 2011, on the advice of her coach, Sarita became a specialist in 400 meters hurdles and 400 meters race. Sarita won gold in 2018 in the 4x400m Female Relay Team Meeting of the Asian Games. He was selected for the Commonwealth Games this year.
