Sco demonstration area held cultural, tourism and business advancement meeting in Nepal

Beijing, May 24 (IANS). The Chinese Shanghai cooperation organization’s (SCO) local economic and commercial cooperation demonstration area held a cultural, tourism and economic and business advancement meeting in the capital Kathmandu in Nepal to promote intensive collaboration with Nepal. The promotional meeting was organized by the SCO Performance Area Management Committee. In his speech at the promotional meeting, the executive deputy director of the Management Committee, Lee Kang said this year is the 70th anniversary to establish diplomatic relations between China and Nepal. He wants to use the opportunity as an opportunity to connect deeply with all parties in Nepal and in the areas of transport, cultural and tourism products, etc. In the promotional meeting, the two parties also signed two cooperation agreements for practical collaboration in the field of tea trade, cultural and tourism exchange, etc. Nepal and China can work together on the transfer of food security and food processing, solar panels, batteries, electric vehicles, equipment and energy development.
