Judge Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai is likely to become the next Chief Justice of India, and reportedly on April 14. Judge Gavai, 64, will be elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court on May 24, 2019 as 52nd Chief Justice of India to the retirement of present -day CJI Khanna, and will remain in office until November 23, 2025.
