Section 163 imposed from October 18 to 23 in view of festivals in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Noida, October 18 (IANS). In view of the upcoming festivals, a prohibitory order has been issued by the Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissioner under section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code to maintain law and order in the district. This order will be in effect from October 18 to 23. Major festivals like Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Deepawali, Govardhan Puja and Bhaiya Dooj will be celebrated during this period along with possible protests and other public programs by various organizations. The police administration expressed their concern that anti-social elements may try to disturb the peace on these occasions. In such a situation, some important restrictions have been imposed in the order issued unilaterally. According to the order, the formation of any kind of procession or public group of five or more people without permission will be prohibited. Shooting with drone cameras will be completely prohibited within a radius of one kilometer from government offices. Also in other places the use of drones will only be possible with the permission of the Police Commissioner. There will be a ban on the use of loudspeakers from 22:00 to 06:00. The maximum limit of sound will be kept according to the decibel standards set by the court. Sales of green coconuts and supply through e-commerce will be banned from October 18 to 20 in the NKR region. Knockers can only be burst during two prescribed periods (08:00 to 19:00 and 20:00 to 22:00). Namaz, puja or religious events will not be possible without permission in public places and roads. No person shall attempt any worship or religious activities at the disputed sites. Loudspeakers installed at religious places will be restricted to the premises only. The carrying of sharp weapons such as sticks, sticks, swords, knives or flammable substances will be prohibited. Only the walking stick of the disabled and the kirpan of the Sikhs were exempted. Alcohol or intoxicants will not be used in public places.
