He said it is the primary duty of the police to solve the public’s complaints early and for this coordination and regular reviews in each district are mandatory. The DGP has also instructed officials to increase the use of modern technologies and cyber instruments for crime control. The emphasis on the sale of pending cases is more pending cases in many districts in the state, which benefits criminals and reduces the confidence of the public in the police. DGP Sharma said at the meeting that a list of pending matters should be drawn up in each district and that they should be sold on priority base. He also instructed officials that the report on the progress of cases sold and pending cases should be sent directly to the police headquarters each month.
