A source said that a BCCI official visited the ACC headquarters a few days ago and on inquiring about the Asia Cup trophy, the staff told him that it had been removed and was now with Mohsin Naqvi, where he kept it at an undisclosed location in Abu Dhabi. Naqvi has set a condition for handing over the trophy. Earlier this month, ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi had set a condition for handing over the Asia Cup trophy to Team India, asking them to come to the ACC headquarters and collect the trophy. Earlier, according to various reports, at the Asian Cricket Council meeting held at the end of September, Mohsin Naqvi apologized for the incident that took place during the awards ceremony after the last match.
