Seven passengers were killed, four others injured in multiple accident on Lagos-Amadan Expressway

According to a statement from Florence Okupe, the Ogun State Sector’s route commander and chief public education officer at the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident was caused by excessive velocity by a Mack truck who lost control and picked up in two other vehicles. Out of the 15 passengers involved, four injuries sustained – three men and one woman – while seven were confirmed, including six men and one woman. The injured victims were rushed to Divine Touch Hospital and Glory Center Hospital, both in Ibafo. The deceased was deposited at Idera Morgue in Sagamu. After the accident, the vehicles in question were dragged away immediately to ensure the free flow of traffic on the highway. Sector commander Fasakin Akinwumi visited the scene of the accident for further investigation and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
