Under this project completed by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam Urban, 12,876 houses were provided sewerage connections by laying 70 km sewer line in six large divisions along Gorakhnath Temple. There are also 10 MLD capacity treatment plant (STP) and 40 MLD fool pump station prepared at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bosnagar. The 62,194 population of six wards Madhopur, Maharana Pratap Nagar, Suryakunddham Nagar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar, Old Gorakhpur and Mansarovar Nagar Nagar is linked to the sewer network under the sewer Yojana Zone C-2. The completion of the sewage scheme, hoping to improve the quality of river water, brought relief from the use of septic tanks, while the problem of weakening will also be relieved. Apart from this, three of the six major drains will fall into the Rohin River, in addition to Bansiyadih, Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar and Green City Phase-2, its catchment will be treated by the water of the drains included in the sewer network.
