Shaheed-e-Azam: Bhagat Singh lit the flame of freedom, the slogan of Inquilab made a loud voice of the freedom struggle

New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). There are a few names in the Freedom struggle of India, which even bring excitement and inspiration in the hearts of youth today. Bhagat Singh is one of them. Bhagat Singh, who was born on September 28, 1907 in Banga Village in Punjab, was not only a revolutionary, but also a thinker, writer and social reformer who at his young age sacrificed his life for the independence of the country. Bhagat Singh was born in a patriotic Sikh family. His father Kishan Singh and Uncle Ajit Singh were fighters of freedom struggle himself. Since childhood, Bhagat Singh has had anger against British rule. The death of Lala Lajpat Rai inspired him for revolutionary activities. The death of Lala Lajpat Rai during a protest march against the Simon Commission in 1928 Bhagat Singh caused a deep shock. In response, he, along with his colleagues, killed British police officer JP Sanders, known as ‘Lahore Conspiracy’. In 1929, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar dug Dutt bombs at the central meeting of Delhi. Their purpose was not to kill anyone, but to draw the British government’s attention to his demands. After throwing the bomb, he voluntarily arrested and lifted the slogan, “Inquilab Zindabad.” His slogan has become a symbol of the Indian freedom struggle. Even while in prison, Bhagat Singh expressed his view through writing. His diary and articles clearly reflect the talk of socialism, equality and exploitation -free society. He not only opposed British imperialism, but also raised his voice against social evils and economic inequality. His views are still relevant today. On March 23, 1931, at the age of just 23, Bhagat Singh was hung with his comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev. His martyrdom further annoyed the flame of freedom in the country.
