The God of ancestors, without whom Shraddha is incomplete!
The god of ancestors of Dharm, without whom Shraddha is unintentional! In Pitrupaksha we all perform Shraddha for the peace of the soul of our ancestors. But do you know, what the gods of ancestors are, without whom the tarp is considered incomplete? Let us know: 1. According to Garuda Purana, Aryama is the god of ancestors. Tarpan is considered incomplete without mentioning it. 2. Aryama, Rishi Kashyap and Devmata are the sons of Aditi. According to Scripture, he is also considered Indra’s brother. Aryama is arranged as a king in Pitriloka. 3. Aryama is considered the Suzerain of all the ancestors in Pitriloka. They are said to recognize the fathers of each family. 4. Therefore, during Pitrupakha, it is considered essential to take the name of Aryama while performing water donation and Tarpan. It is believed that the ancestors are only satisfied by Aryama’s pleasure. 5. While performing Shraddha, ॐ Aryama to Tripyatam Idan Tilodakam Tasmai Swadha Namah. ॐ Deathyorma Amritan Gamay. “The mantra sings too. 6. What does’ oh Aryama mean! You are the God of fathers, take us from death to nectar and give peace to the souls of our ancestors. ‘7. Therefore, it is said that the worship of Aryama brings peace to the souls of the ancestors during Shraddha.
