Jakarta – Riau Islands Regional Police (Riau Islands) launched the first Nutrition Program (MBG) through the inauguration of the Kitchen Center for Nutrition Food Provision (SPPG) in Batam. The Riau Islands regional police emphasized its dedication to supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s policy. During the inauguration ceremony, the Police Chief Inspector General of the Riau Islands, Asep Safrudin, expressed his gratitude for completing the completion of the construction of the SPG kitchen that was verified and ready to operate. He said the kitchen is run by the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation to ensure that the spread of free nutritious foods on target and by quality standards exists. “This program is a form of support from the Riau Islands regional police for the Indonesian president’s policy. We are here to ensure that the implementation in the field goes well and offers concrete benefits to the children of MBG receivers,” the Kapolda said, as cited by Media Hub Pulri, Tuesday (8/26/2025).
