Kazakhstan – The building of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Great Mosque is firmly in the city of Astana. This mosque is at the edge of the city and is the largest in Central Asia. VIII congress of world and traditional religions in the eighth event this year, the plenary session of the congress of the world and traditional religions, bears the theme of dialogue of religions: Synergy for the Future. This theme was chosen to answer a number of human problems that occur lately, ranging from geopolitical tension, armed conflict, climate change, pandemic, to trade war. The big theme is then divided into four important sub -theme sessions. The four sessions ranging from the role of religion in the consolidation of humanity in the 21st century, religions as a factor in sustainable world development, spiritual values in the era of digital reality and artificial intelligence, to faith against extremism: the peace building potential of religions. This year’s congress also holds a special session in an effort to protect religious areas. This session aims to emphasize the importance of protection of religious places and strengthen the cooperation and dedication of state, international and religious organizations and civil society institutions to overcome these problems.
