Singer in Purwodadi Slapped by Man on Stage, Now Investigated by Police

Jakarta – A woman in Purwodadi, Central Java, who works as a singer, was slapped by a man on the entertainment stage. The victim, who was said to be a singer, immediately reported it to the police. The incident went viral based on a video, one of which was uploaded by an Instagram account. In the 29 second video, a man can be seen pointing at a woman while shouting curses. Then the woman who was sitting was slapped so hard that her chair was lifted. Purwodadi Police Chief AKP Siswanto confirmed this incident. The incident took place on Friday evening (17/10) in Jagalan Village, Grobogan Regency. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT “It happened last night, around 22:00 WIB in Jagalan village, Purwodadi district,” Siswanto said as reported by detikJateng, Sunday (19/10/2025). This incident was then reported to the police. The case is currently being handled by the Grobogan Police. “Then a complaint was made, which was handled by the police because the Purwodadi police only handle harkamtibas (maintenance of safety and public order), all criminal charges were withdrawn to the Grobogan police,” Siswanto concluded.
