Jakarta – The National Police Chief, Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, first held a meeting with selected students from Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara High School (KTB). The National Police Head hopes that the first wave of KTB High School will be filled by students of future leaders. “Our hope is surely the first wave of children who entered Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara High School. We can really prepare a generation of future leaders,” General Sigit told reporters to the Police College (Stik), South Jakarta on Sunday (5/18/2025). The national police principal said that KTB High School was designed with a bursary program. In the selection process, General Sigit could not intervene. This proves that selected students really come from the best children of the country. “This school is a school designed with a bursary program. And I have to convey to colleagues that in the selection process or its acceptance, I also do not have the right to intervene,” General Sigit explained. “This means that all the chosen chosen were chosen because of their own results and preferred some of the best children of the Indonesian population. Because it is indeed a test in nearly 38 provinces,” he added. Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara High School is built on the collaboration of three important foundations, namely Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation, Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara Education Foundation, and the Indonesian Nation Cadre Education Foundation. This school stands in an area of 13.5 hectares in Mount Sindur, Bogor Regency, West Java, with a variety of educational facilities and supports full students, ranging from modern classrooms, libraries, dorms, to gor, pools and archery fields. Students are performed by a strict selection process, including academic potential tests, core subjects such as science, math, English, to health, psychology and physical tests. The choice is made with the principle of need blind admission, which means that the financial ability of prospective students is not considered because all students accepted will receive complete scholarships. The first school year is held at the Global Darussalam Academy, Yogyakarta, after the main building on Mount Sindur Rampung.
