When Poonam learned that the government gave concession to registration on such vehicles, she filed a claim with the department, but did not get relief. As he approached the Supreme Court, the department was ordered to return the money in September 2024. Money was returned in May 2025. Similarly, Vandana Aggarwal, a resident of Ramghat Road, bought an innovative Invito car in June 2024. They were taxed on Rs 2.85 Lakh. To get it back, he approached the Supreme Court.
