Beijing, June 7 (IANS). Australian snooker Neil Robertson announced on social media on June 6 that he and his family have acquired Hong Kong’s identity card, describing it as an important personal moment and pride for the whole family. Robertson said China’s special administrative area Hong Kong has always been his blessed country, where he achieved great achievements and established a deep friendship with the city. He said he would make more business and career plans in Hong Kong in the future. Robertson allegedly obtained the identity of Hong Kong through Hong Kong’s “quality access plan”. It is striking that the Government of Hong Kong’s special administrative region of China launched the ‘quality talent -entrance scheme’ in June 2006, which aims to attract high -tech talent or excellent talent to settle in Hong Kong and increase the competitiveness of Hong Kong. In recent years, the famous snookers players Jude Trump and Ronnie O’Sulivan have become Hong Kong residents through the scheme.
