Seoul, September 28 (IANS). South Korea’s Interior Ministry said on Sunday that it slowly resumed the operation of the administrative computer network, which was brought to a standstill by the fire caused by the explosion of the battery. It is estimated that it will take about two weeks to be completely restored. The fire broke out on Friday after a lithium-ion battery exploded in a computer room on the 5th floor in the National Information Resource Services Center in the middle of the city of Deson. According to the Yonhap News Agency report, the ministry said it would gradually turn on 551 computer systems that were not directly affected by the fire so that it could be reviewed whether the online service normally runs or not.
