Special Report on Sangh's Centenary: Bhagwat's grandfather was the basis of RSS, Father played an important role in detail

The family of the current Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief, Mohan Bhagwat, has a long legacy of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The Bhagwat family played an important role in supporting Sangh founder Dr. Hedgear to the preparation of prominent leaders such as Narendra Modi. One of the 100 -year stories of the Sangh travel is from the Bhagwat family. The generations of many families have dedicated themselves to reaching the people. The story of Mohan Bhagwat’s family shows it best. His grandfather was the groundstone of the Sangh, while his father’s cooperation was important to make it a barrel. While his grandfather, Srinarayan Pandurang Nana Saheb, contributed to the extremely difficult task of the founder of the union, Dr. Keshav Baliram Heddwar, his father, Madhukar Rao Bhagwat, is credited with prominent leaders such as LK Advani and Narendra Modi to play an important role in teaching the basics of politics and Sangh. If two veteran families like Nana Saheb and Madhukar Rao are in the family, then think about what effect it will have on the children. This inspiration that occurs at home can be understood as an important factor in Mohan Bhagwat’s reach of the Union. Srinarayan Pandurang Bhagwat, also known as Nana Saheb, was guidance in support of Dr. Hedgear, grandfather of Mohan Bhagwatwat, was born in 1884 in the VeeraMal village in the Chandrapur district (then Madhya Pradesh) in Maharashtra. The financial condition of the family was bad, so he went to his uncle’s house in a city in the Nagpur district. In the AshwaMedha chapter of Mahabharata, this city is called Kuntalpur. Nana Saheb obtained a law degree from Prayagraj (then Allahabad) and then started a business in Varora Municipality in the Chandrapur district. Varora was known for his coal mines at the time. Nana Saheb also started in Chandrapur District Court. In those days, Varora was the center of congressional activities, and Nana Saheb also joined the congress. In 1930, the whole family moved to Chandrapur. There he befriended Balwant Rao Deshmukh, a co -worker of Lokmanya Tilak. Tilak’s attitude towards the nation, society and culture also began to root in it. Gradually, Nana Saheb became one of the most sought after advocates of Chandrapur. Then Dr. When Heddwar started the RSS branch in Chandrapur, impressed by his view, Nana Saheb did not hesitate to accept his leadership, while Dr. Hedge of five years younger than he was. It is another matter that Nana’s evil nature was well known in those days. Whoever brought the matter to them, they would clearly tell him that there was no power in their case. Nevertheless, people did not return and asked them to hold another lawyer. They had previously seen stubbornly that happiness would be seen, but they fought themselves. It is also interesting that Muslims and Christians also had a deep confidence in Nana Saheb; Most of his business came to Nana Saheb earlier. This was the time when the RSS did not have an office or more volunteers coming to the branch. Nana Saheb became the Protector of Chandrapur. He made his home available not only for years for RSS workers’ meetings, night’s rest and food, but despite his evil nature, the person who spoke to the children with the most love in the branch. Their simple nature towards children was a major cause of countless RSS camp fighters coming from the city branches. He also had an impact on his family; One of his sons, Madhukar Rao Bhagwat, became a Pracharak and left the house to promote the RSS. Mohan Bhagwat’s father has a profound influence on the life of Premier modes. Madhukar was sent to Gujarat as a pracharak, and he is credited today with the establishment of RSS in Gujarat. He regularly wore Gujarati Gandhi -style Dhoti and upper clothing in Vidarbha. He had a profound influence on the lives of both Lal Krishna Advani and Narendra Modi. In his book ‘Jyotipuj’, Modi wrote in detail about how he first met Madhukar Rao at the age of 20 and stayed together for a month during the third year of Sangh training in Nagpur. Prime Minister Modi wrote in detail how Madhukar Rao, after becoming a Pracharak in 1941, visited a wide visit to the Mahakaushal Katni region with Eknath Ranade and then returned to Gujarat with experience. Initially, he introduced Parekh Technical Institute in Surat and a branch in Ahmedabad. The organizational abilities of the father of Mohan Bhagwat which can be measured from the fact that he erected the RSS in 115 cities and towns of Gujarat between 1941 and 1948. In 1943–44, Guru Golwalkar entrusted the responsibility of the training of workers in the Northern India and Sindh (now in Pakistan), including Lal Krishna Advani. In 1984, when Advani left Nagpur for campaign, he took time to meet Madhukar Rao to go to his home. Even after the death of Madhukar Rao’s brother Manohar, she only refused to remember his son. However, when his mother died, the family put him under pressure and forced Madhukar Rao to return and even get married. However, even after marriage, he still came to Gujarat as a married Pracharak and the sangh. Later, his activism in Chandrapur increased. Like his father, he also dedicated to his son Mohan Bhagwat to the Sangh and today Mohan Bhag is the Sarsanchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak sangh.
