Megawati on the PDIP congress: I don't need a framework just a good rhetoric

Jakarta – Megawati Soekarnoputri, chairman of the PDIP, emphasizes the importance of party traders amid people in every political work. Megawati said she didn’t need cadres who were just good at rhetoric without performing real action. “I don’t need cadres who are just good at rhetoric. I need cadres who are willing to go down to the grassroots level,” Megawati said on Saturday with the closure of the PDIP VI congress, Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Saturday (2/8/2025). According to Megawati, the direction of the party’s consolidation in the future should not be caught up in imaging or populist politics. In her speech, Megawati also warned that the party was not used as a tool to gain personal power or wealth. Megawati said, if the framework was not ready, it would be better to resign. “Always perform my full loyalty instructions.
