Jakarta – Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Inspati visited the Meet Upper People’s School (SRMA) 10 South Jakarta, Saturday (9/8/2025). He also appreciated the complete facilities of people’s schools and religious tolerance among students. On the sidelines of the visit, Sri Mulyani became the conductor and led the SRMA 10 student choir South Jakarta. After the choir, along with Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), he took the time to talk to students. In his remarks, Gus Ipul appreciated students who were enthusiastic about participating in extracurricular extracurriculars, one of whom was the choir. Religious tolerance at the three -way Gus Ipul’s messages were also practiced in Srma 10, South Jakarta. As for the religious tolerance, for example, Marcel is the only non-Muslim student who feels comfortable in the midst of his majority of Muslim friends. “I read in the dorm earlier, little to read about the Bible in the room,” Marcel said. “But your friends are roommate, respect you in this matter?” Sri Mulyani asked. “It’s clear that always,” Marcel replies. Sri Mulyani said the dense student activity, including self -development through extracurriculars, helping students build their characters. This is included in terms of religious tolerance. “It enables them to help and build characters, meet new children, meet new siblings and also set up a chemistry between each other to support each other in a more positive direction,” Sri Mulyani said. He also appreciated the Good People’s School facilities after checking the dormitory and other infrastructure. “There was a dormitory that was also very good, one room was three people, they also had a study table, a good bed, and also the facilities to bathe and others were sufficient,” he explained. As is well known, Srma 10 South Jakarta houses 100 students divided into 4 study groups. To support the process of education and student aid, there are 17 teachers, 10 foster and 2 dormal guardians. Principal of South Jakarta Srma 10 Ratu Mulyanengsih said although students initially still had to get used to when they entered the People’s School, students were able to adjust quickly. “We are also the pattern, disciplinary by embracing affection, not with a look or coercion, but embrace and everyone becomes role models, so I ask the ladies and Lord to come together in the congregation,” Ratu concluded.
